Vauxhall Insignia VXR (2009) pricing confirmed

Fri, 10 Jul 2009

By Richard Webber First Official Pictures 10 July 2009 10:22 Vauxhall’s new Insignia VXR is going to be one of the performance bargains of the year – the 321bhp feisty family car will cost £30,995 when sales start in autumn 2009. It’s aimed at the wired family man who values pace as much as practicality and value, a sort of Audi S4 on the cheap. The numbers say yes.

Bypass booster seats with travel vest

Tue, 19 Feb 2013

Sick of moving that booster seat from car to car whenever your child heads to grandma's? A new product, the Ride-Safer travel vest, claims it can remove the booster seat from your life altogether. Like a booster seat, the purpose of the Ride-Safer vest is to position the lap and shoulder portions of a seatbelt in a way that optimizes safety for child-size passengers.

New Nissan Note production starts in Sunderland

Mon, 16 Sep 2013

The New Nissan Note goes in to production The new Nissan Note arrived at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and has turned in to a proper compact hatch – with plenty of kerbside appeal – instead of the rather bland small MPV it used to be. With better looks, some nice styling detail and lots of technology on offer – like Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Departure Warning and Moving Object Detection, the new Note looks set to have much more impact when it arrive’s in Nissan’s showrooms than the old Note ever did. That point of view is given extra credence by the 14,000 orders Nissan has received for the new Note in Europe since it went on sale in July, and now the first Notes are ready to start rolling off the production line at Nissan’s plant in Sunderland.
