Those private presentations look like they’ve been quite a success, with Lamborghini reporting 700 secured orders for the Huracan already – half the average annual orders of the Gallardo in just a month – before it’s even been publicly revealed. Bugatti confirmed our story in July with news that the Veyron Super Sport had taken the world speed record for a production car with an average speed run of 267.81 mph. When Bugatti announced the Super Sport and the new World Record, we also got pictures of the world record Veyron which will form the basis for an Orange and Carbon World Record Edition of five cars.
