Faurecia Pin-spiration calls for premium pinboards

Faurecia has launched its ‘Faurecia Pin-spiration' contest, with a brand new 64GB iPad up for grabs. Tier supplier Faurecia is using online sharing community Pinterest to host a new competition to create a pinboard named ‘Faurecia Pin-spiration' – categorized under ‘Cars and Motorcycles' – and filled with things that reflect the meaning of ‘premium’ that could also be used in automotive design. New Mustang Finally Comes To UK

FORD has unveiled its latest generation Mustang muscle car, which for the first time will come to the UK in right-hand drive form. The car, which will go on sale towards the end of 2014, claims to be lighter and more advanced than its predecessor. Also new is a 2.3-litre, 305 horsepower engine, which Ford hopes will boost the Mustang’s eco credentials in Europe without detracting from the car’s performance.

Spyker makes a new offer for Saab; General Motors will evaluate

Spyker Cars said Sunday it had submitted a new offer for the Saab brand. Spyker CEO Victor Muller said an 11-point proposal had been handed to General Motors addressing each of the issues that arose during due diligence after the Dutch company originally bid for Saab. Muller said the new offer would remove the obstacles that were standing in the way of a swift sale of Saab to Spyker.
