This is for a used set of MERCEDES SL hood hinges, both left and right.  Part Numbers: 230 880 01 28 and 230 880 02 28.  

These are from a well maintained SL500 with 74k miles.  This car was not crashed in the front.  The hinges are in perfect working order.


This is the same part used in many other MB R230 models and years 2003-2012.  Buyer is responsible to verify part number and compatibility, check with the dealer to make sure this fits and works on your vehicle before bidding, buying or making an offer.

Chrysler has revealed three sketches of new concepts it is scheduled to unveil at the Detroit Auto Show in January. One of these is the Jeep Renegade Concept, a sporty B-segment-sized two-seater the automaker claims is ideally suited for the all-weather delights of off-roading and dune surfing. The design of the vehicle is a futuristic take on the existing open-topped Jeep Wrangler, featuring a cut-down speedster windshield, a roll bar, openings in the door lowers and a hose-out interior.

Electric cars get a £500 million government cash boost – but will it get spent?

The new BMW i3 EV (pictured) will be subsidised until 2017. The subsidy of up to £5000 paid to buyers of electric cars has been with us for three years, but it hasn’t had much impact on EV sales and it did look like the government had decided to scrap it all together. But it looks like the coalition has allowed Nick Clegg to have his way with EV subsides in a move that will see £500 million injected in to promoting and supporting electric cars in the UK in the next few years.
