You are bidding on a used Engine Computer/ECU removed from a 2003 Lincoln LS with a 3.0L V6 Engine, Automatic Transmission and Security.  The Lincoln Part Numbers for this Unit are 3W4A-12A650-DG OXC6. Please make sure that if you bid on this ECU, the Unit that you are replacing has exactly the same ID number or is  otherwise compatible. To the best of my knowledge, this ECU is only found in Some but Not All Lincoln LS Models built in 2003 that have the 3.0L V6 Engine. You must do your own due diligence if you wish to employ this ECU in other Model Years. It was removed from an automobile that was wrecked and that had 111000 miles on the odometer.  The car was sufficiently damaged that it was totaled by the Insurance Company. The Engine could be started and worked fine. As an added Bonus I am throwing in the Ignition Key, the Ignition Cylinder, and the Ignition Switch. This Key is Chipped. The Immobilizer is also part of this Complete package. The Lincoln VIN is shown in one of the Pics. Reprogramming of this Engine Computer may be needed to match your Cars other Computers. Nevertheless with the Key, VIN, Immobilizer, and Ignition Cylinder included in your purchase, that job should be made considerably simpler. You must be completely satisfied or your purchase price will be refunded.

Wed, 31 Oct 2012

Two years on from launch the MINI Countryman is getting a few tweaks for 2013 – but they don’t amount to much. But two years on from launch of the Countryman it’s getting a few tweaks to take in in to 2013, but they are pretty minor. The rings round the centre speedo and air vents now come in gloss black (unless you opt for the Chrome Line interior pack, and then they’re chrome.

70% of premium brand cars stolen are taken with the car’s own keys

Thu, 03 Apr 2014

High-end SUVs – like the new Range Rover (pictured) are a prime target for car key thieves There was once a time when all it took to steal a car was a wire coathanger and the ability to hotwire the ignition. But as car makers have got better at securing the second most expensive asset most of us will ever own, car thieves have had to look for a different approach, and that approach is increasingly to relieve owners of the keys to their pride and joy. Cobra – the vehicle tracking firm – are reporting that a massive 70 per cent of all premium brand cars stolen in 2014 – with an average value of £40k, up £6k on 2012 – are being parted from their owners using that owners keys.
