Jeep Renegade (2008): first official pictures

By James Foxall First Official Pictures 15 January 2008 14:04 Of the three concepts unveiled on the Chrysler stand the one most likely to see a production line is the Jeep Renegade. Whether it does so with its current tree hugger-pleasing power source is unlikely, but stranger things have happened. Outdoor enthusiasts will be pleased to hear that Jeep has plumped for a hybrid diesel electric engine in the Renegade.

McLaren P1 concept

The McLaren P1 concept – the company's flagship hypercar model – will make its world debut at the Paris motor show next week ahead of the production model some time next year. These first images reveal an exterior that's more expressive in its surfacing and graphics than the existing MP4-12C, with a particular motif made of McLaren's 'tick' logo through the DRG. Its bodywork also appears to be layered over the underlying carbon structure that appears around the nose, rear and door panel, which hint at the diagonal bar that ran through the F1's doors, although here it dives downwards rather than creating a wedge.

Lamborghini Jota spied testing

The Lamborghini Jota caught cold weather testing (via WCF - copyright CarPix) The Murcielago range of Lamborghinis is coming to the end of their shelf life and we have in store the replacement – The Lamborghini Jota - which will be with us in the next year or so. So it’s not a big surprise that Lamborghini have been out testing the new Jota in the Arctic Circle. As we can see from the spy shots, the Jota is going to be similar in size to the Murcielago (which is far too wide for comfort around town) but thanks to a new aluminium space frame will be an awful lot lighter than the Murcielago.
