Made from high strength 6061-T6 aluminum extrusions, each piece is precision CNC machined and finished by hand to ensure that out customers receive the very best PRW has to offer. PRW stud mount aluminum rockers are specially machined to allow for larger springs and retainers with full-cage friction reducing bearings for added durability. The nose rollers and shafts are Cr40 steel, heat-treated and hardened to minimize wear that naturally occurs between the roller tip and the valve stem.

Felix Kilbertus has been appointed Fiat's chief exterior designer. Kilbertus' move sees him cross Turin, from his previous position as a lead designer at Pininfarina, to Centro Stile. In his new role he is responsible for the exterior design of Fiat-branded passenger vehicles.

The McLaren 12C Spider was revealed in July, but with just a handful of photos available. But now McLaren has rectified their photo count. Even when the 12C Spider took its public bow at Pebble Beach in August there wasn’t anything new from McLaren’s snappers, and at the Paris Motor show all eyes were on the McLaren P1, so nothing more for the 12C Spider from there either.

GM expands brake-override safety feature

General Motors is significantly expanding the use of a brake-override safety feature in its cars through the end of 2012. GM announced on Monday that it will add the software, which it also calls “enhanced smart-pedal technology,” in all of its passenger cars with automatic transmissions and electronic throttle control. The change will reduce power to the engine when both the throttle and brakes are pressed at the same time.
