Volvo marks 50 years of child seat with inflatable design

To celebrate this half century, the Swedish firm has come up with a new inflatable child seat that is easier to install and carry. Gibbs launches new high-speed amphibian vehicles
Wed, 08 Feb 2012Michigan-based Gibbs Technologies has released two new high-speed, commercial-grade amphibian vehicles, named the Phibian and the Humdinga. The Phibian is a 30-foot-long, nearly 12-foot-tall craft capable of highway speeds on land and more than 30 mph (26 knots) in the water. Constructed mainly of carbon fiber, the Phibian can hold up to 15 people, including a crew of three.

With the exception of the 500, Fiat’s cars in Europe are not exactly on a roll. Nothing new is really happening on the new model front with Sergio Marchionne hunkered down to try and weather the sales slump, but things are a bit brighter for Fiat in South America.
