Tata Nano bounces back
Mon, 03 Jan 2011Tata Nano Sales recovered well in December The Tata Nano was going to be the car that changed the world. Not since the Model T brought motoring to the masses was there a car that was going to change the game so drastically, with a list price in India of just £1750 and plans to bring the Tata Nano to Europe with a sub £5k tag, the Nano was going to be a revolution. New Mercedes ML to be the Mercedes GLE
Wed, 27 Aug 2014The Mercedes Concept Coupe (pictured) will arrive as the Mercedes GLE Coupe Car makers’ model ranges have grown massively in recent years and that, in a lot of cases, has left traditional model designations floundering to inform potential buyers. Mercedes has made some moves of late to address the lack of clarity in model designations (the Mercedes CL, for example, has become the new Mercedes S-Class Coupe), and new models have started to arrive with more descriptive names. Models like the CLA (a coupe from the A-Class range) and GLA (an SUV/Crossover from the A-Class range) and that looks set to be extended when the next Mercedes ML and ML Coupe arrive in 2015.
Photo of the week (2009): Porsche Panamera in a lift

But when he called to say he was pouring over Porsche’s Panamera 425 metres up in the air, we started to think that maybe the jetlag was getting to him. Apparently not – on the evening before the opening of the Shanghai show, a select group of the world’s automotive media was invited to a preview of the Panamera on the 94th floor of the Shanghai World Financial Centre.
