VW bring Golf GTI and Polo Concepts to Wörthersee

VW has brought the Golf GTI & Polo Worthesee Concepts to the Worthersee Tour in Austria The Wörthersee Tour is in full swing in Austria, and as we told you yesterday Audi has brought along the Audi Q5 Wörthersee Concept to show off, along with a handful of its latest models. But this is a VW as well as Audi show, so Volkswagen has gone one better and brought along a pair of  Concept Cars – The VW Golf GTI Wörthersee  Concept and the VW Polo Wörthersee  Concept. The Golf GTI Concept, based on the new VW Golf GTI, comes in a dark Firespark Red and a set of mean looking black alloys.

Morgan celebrates 100 years – and a new model

There aren’t many car makers around the world who have been in business for 100 years, and even fewer that have remained in the same family for all that time. But Morgan, that maker of anachronistic 1930s-style cars, is not only still going strong, it is celebrating its 100 year anniversary in 2009, and is now the only remaining British-owned car maker in existence (aside from the ‘Garden-Shed’ makers). Partnership Premium 2030 - Part 1

Strate College in Paris, France, has been working on a Peugeot-sponsored project for the past few months. The project asks 30 students who have been divided into 10 groups to create the exterior design, an interior design, any related products (including accessories or new services, for example) and color and trim details for the premium Peugeot for the year 2030 Though there are no constraints on the technical package, the brief stipulates that the teams must create a scenario that illustrates global change, and design a vehicle that fits into this future environment. Designers from Peugeot have been very active in the process, guiding students in weekly critiques and assisting them with specific knowledge in key areas of expertise.
