OEM Spoiler from a 2004 Pontiac GTO. Torrid red. Stucturally, great condition. Includes the 4 mounting studs (studs backed out of the spoiler, threads all still intact). This spoiler DOES need paint. It is marked up, and the paint is cracking. Third brake light fully working. It is a project, but will be a nice addition once painted and installed. Fits 04-06 GTO.

BYD aims to bring electric vehicle to North America by 2011 or 2012

Chinese firm BYD Auto is aiming to bring at least one electric vehicle to North America by 2011 or 2012, and is considering building an assembly plant in the United States, it said Monday at the Detroit Auto Show. The automaker showed the e6, an electric vehicle, and two other hybrid cars at the show. The e6 has room for five and has a range of 250 miles, BYD says.

Toyota has slipped behind competitors in drivetrain technology and now must play catch-up against the likes of Ford, Hyundai and Mazda. Much of Toyota's lag stems from engineering resources being diverted by the unintended acceleration crisis and other quality miscues in the past two years. Now expect Toyota to focus more on turbocharging and direct injection, and it may even bring a couple of diesels to the United States as part of midcycle changes.
