McLaren Special Operations (MSO) P1 and 650 S Spider Pebble Beach debut
Tue, 05 Aug 2014The McLaren P1 MSO (pictured) will debut at Pebble Beach 2014 It may be Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations in the news at the moment, but McLaren’s own Special Operations has been around since 2011, creating extreme examples of McLaren’s cars for deep-pocketed customers. The most impressive of the two MSO cars is, of course, a special edition of the already very special McLaren P1.
European Grand Prix (2011) RESULT
Sun, 26 Jun 2011European Grand Prix 2011 - Vettel back on pole It’s probably as big a shift in weather and conditions as we’ve had this F1 season, from the deluge of the island track in Canada to the searing heat of a Valencian Summer for the 2011 European Grand Prix, but was that enough to see Vettel recover from the defeat he suffered in Canada at the hands of a quite simply brilliant Jenson Button? Well, yes, it was. Just as he was in 2010, Vettel was on pole in Valencia and back on unrelenting form, leading as if by right from beginning to end; controlling the gap to the cars behind as if by divine intervention.
Mazda MX-5 20th Anniversary Limited Edition launched
Fri, 31 Jul 2009Mazda has released a limited edition MX-5 in Japan to commemorate 20 years of the MX-5 It’s hard to believe that the little Mazda MX-5 – or Mazda Roadster, as it’s known in Japan – has been with us for 20 years, but it has. And in that time it has racked up sales of more than 850,000, making it the best-selling open roadser in history. Deservedly so.
