Lamborghini Gallardo pays homage to longtime test driver
Wed, 01 Jul 2009Lamborghini is paying tribute to its longtime test driver, Valentino Balboni, by putting his name on a limited run of rear-wheel-drive Gallardos. It's called the LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni, which denotes the 550-hp rating. It's the only current Lamborghini that channels power to just the rear wheels.

The high-performance i8 will be the second BMW i car to go on sale, following the launch of the i3 electric city car which goes on sale in BMW dealers this weekend. General Motors taps Europe design chief to run Cadillac, Buick

The automaker is also shuffling duties for two other top design executives. The changes were announced Monday.
