UP FOR AUCTION... Up for auction is a custom made tig welded billet grille kit that fits 2004, and 2005 Kawasaki ZX-10's. This 1pc grille is built entirely from SOLID T-6061 Aircraft Billet Aluminum. Each kit is hand-rolled either by roll bender or hydraulic press (depending on the application), then hand tig-welded in one of our state of the art jig's, then polished to a chrome finish and lastly sandblasted, prepped, powdercoated and then packaged up. Basically what we're saying is every one of our billet grille kits are HAND MADE IN THE USA! If you would rather have it with the standard satin (brushed aluminum) finish, or perhaps powdercoated ENTIRELY (all flat black for example), just mention that WITH YOUR PAYMENT and we'll take care of it. Hyundai & Kia get Google Maps integration – but not in UK
Sun, 06 Jan 2013Hyundai and Kia are adding Google Maps functionality to their SatNav Systems in the US, but it’s not coming to the UK any time soon. In the US, Hyundai has a clever system called Blue Link (Kia has a similar system called UVO) that offers increased functionality for stuff like the SatNav, Remote Access, Location Sharing and Enhanced Recovery. It costs a few hundred dollars a year (for the all-singing, all-dancing version), but makes your Hyundai much smarter than the average bear.
McLaren GT comes home to Woking in England
Fri, 25 May 2012The picturesque town of Woking, Surrey, in the south of England is home to the McLaren Technology Center (MTC), the McLaren Automotive factory that builds the MP4-12C supercar and, soon, a dedicated facility for McLaren GT. McLaren GT is a branch within the McLaren Automotive Group, started in 2011, that supplies MP4-12C GT3s for competition. The space is a 60,000-square-foot facility that housed McLaren Racing from 1987 to 2004.
