New Mercedes A Class: Geneva 2012

Thu, 08 Mar 2012

New Mercedes A Class at Geneva We catch up with the new Mercedes A Class (2012) at Geneva and take a look at Mercedes’ answer to the BMW 1 Series. We had lots about the new Mercedes A Class in the run up to Geneva, but now we’ve had the chance to see it in Switzerland we’re even more convinced it could have the measure of the latest BMW 1 Series. Button wins in Monaco – another Brawn 1-2

Sun, 24 May 2009

Button wins the Monaco Grand Prix 2009 [ad#ad-1] This year’s Formula One season is starting to turn in to a cross between a Roy of the Rovers special and a Disney Fairytale. Not content with simply getting the Brawn GP team up and running just in time for the start of the season, and then going on to win four of the first five Grand Prix of the year, Button and Barichello have crowned all those achievements for Brawn GP by winning in spectacular one-two style at the F1 ‘Jewel in the Crown’ event in Monaco. Button got off to a great start in qualifying by grabbing pole in the closing minutes of Q3 qualifying to join Raikkonen on the front row of the grid, with Barrichello riding shotgun for Button on the second row.

Vauxhall Cascada: Official

Wed, 17 Oct 2012

The new 2013 Vauxhall Cascada – a full size convertible and the modern version of the Astra Twin Top – has been revealed. For some reason best known to Vauxhall, they chose not to debut the Cascada at the Paris Motor Show – perhaps to give the new Adam its moment in the sun – but now we get Vauxhall’s latest model in its revised line-up. The Cascada is a proper full size, four seat convertible – it’s only a couple of inches shorter than a Mercedes E Class Cabriolet – and has its underpinnings based on elements from both the Insignia and Astra and comes with a folding fabric roof instead of the tin-top folding roof in the Twin Top which can be raised and lowered in 17 seconds at speeds of up to 30mph.
