Last week, we brought you a few mystery car reviews and asked you to guess which vehicle was being reviewed. The response was great, and we want to say congrats to @jasoncashatt, @ericvanderiet, @timothyhowes1 and @ljpancakepantry who all guessed correctly. That started with the appointment of engineer Aslam Farikullah as chief operating officer at Lotus when Bahar got his marching orders, and he’s been busy for the last two years bolting Lotus back together, cutting costs, improving quality and increasing sales. Now, it looks like Lotus are readying themselves for the next stage of their recovery – which will include new models – as former PSA president Jean-Marc Gales is appointed as Lotus CEO to work with Aslam Farikullah.

Supermarkets launch new petrol price war

British supermarkets have launched a new fuel price war which will see petrol prices dip down below the 130 pence per litre mark. Sainsbury’s was first to move, by cutting a huge 6p per litre off the price of unleaded – taking prices down to 129.9p. How to find the cheapest fuel in your area Petrol: don’t waste time and money shopping around Asda quickly followed up by saying nobody will pay more than 128.7p for a litre of petrol.
