Buick hopes 'Truth' site will set it free, help launch Regal

To help launch the 2011 Regal sedan, Buick will host a social media Web site with videos from buyers supplied with flip cameras, just like Ford's campaign for the youth-oriented Fiesta small car. Tue, 16 Sep 2014The makers of a new movie charting America's postwar car designers are seeking donations to make the project become reality. The film's makers are hoping to raise $100,000 to make American Dreaming, a documentary movie that aims to tell the story of the lives of the men and women who worked in automotive design between 1948 and 1973. The film will be produced by Detroit artist Robert Edwards, former Detroiter Greg Salustro, and cinematographer Jim Toscano, and will include interviews with the men and women who worked in automotive design studios at the time.
CCTV 'Spy cars' to be banned
Mon, 23 Jun 2014CCTV "SPY CARS" used to catch people who park illegally is to be banned, the Government announced, marking a victory for drivers and shoppers. The move will rein in "greedy councils" who use the method of fining as a "cash cow", and bring to an end the "plague" of tickets being issued by post. Parking wardens will instead have to fix tickets directly to windscreens, making it illegal for councils to issue penalties to drivers using just the CCTV spy cars currently used for on-street parking enforcement.
