The motoring world remains full of surprises – here we have a pair of classic Jaguars that had apparently been all but forgotten until they were pulled out of their respective hiding places earlier this year. The blue car is an early E-Type, the silver car an early steel-bodied XK120, both are heading to auction with Coys in the Ascot Sale on 26 October 2013. Volvo teases photos of new 2014 XC90 interior

So feast your eyes on this – the new cabin of the 2014 Volvo XC90.  The inside-out reveal means that we’re seeing the family-friendly interior in extraordinary detail. Don’t assume this is some marketing gaffe, either: Volvo is keen to stress that its new SUV is focused on carrying up to seven passengers in understated Swedish luxury, modern connectivity and – this is a Volvo, after all – supreme safety.

Porsche Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS revealed

The new Porsche Cayman GTS (pictured) will debut at the Beijing Motor Show Porsche has decided the Boxster and Cayman need the GTS treatment, so we get treated to both a Porsche Boxster GTS and Porsche Caymen GTS. Based on the Boxster S and Catmen S, both the GTS models get a Euro 6 version of the 3.4 litre flat six with an extra 15bhp, which means 325bhp for the Bosxster and 335bhp for the Cayman. Both come with a six-speed manual as standard but you can opt for 7-Speed Dual Clutch ‘box which allows the Cayman GTS to crack 62mph in 4.6 seconds and the Boxster GTS in 4.7 seconds.
