This item was removed from a fully functioning 2004 Manco Talon/ Linhai 260 cc 4x4 and was tested completely prior to removal. Tue, 12 May 2009VW Scirocco R20T snapped ahead of the reveal on 21st May I suppose we should consider this a ‘Tease’ from VW, because the photo we have here appears to be a track-prepared version of the new hot Scirocco, but it’s not. It is actually a full production model with a stack of track logos splatted on it. Our snapper says it was a fully trimmed car with a full road car interior.
Support For Fuel Duty Pothole Plan
Fri, 12 Sep 2014MORE than four in five people would support a plan in which money raised from fuel duty was used to repair potholed roads, research has found. Support is highest in eastern England, Wales and Yorkshire and Humberside, according to a survey by the Local Government Association (LGA). The LGA said the Treasury got £33 billion a year from fuel duty, while the Government was spending just under £2 billion a year on maintaining and improving roads over the next five years.
GM, SAIC to develop electric cars in China
Tue, 20 Sep 2011General Motors will work with its joint-venture partner, Chinese carmaker SAIC Motor Corp., to develop parts and vehicle platforms for electric cars, the companies said on Tuesday. The automakers will use their existing joint venture in Shanghai, the Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center, as the home base to develop the electric car--aimed primarily at the Chinese market. GM says it plans to use the platform, components and technology from the project to build electric cars around the world for various markets.
