Porsche Panamera S E-hybrid scores £5k government grant
Wed, 27 Nov 2013By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 27 November 2013 12:30 You’d have thought the last thing a buyer wealthy enough to afford an £89k Porsche Panamera needed was a £5000 discount on their mammoth new supersaloon. But, thanks the Panamera S E-hybrid cracking the eco numbers, that’s exactly what the UK government is offering. The Panamera S E-hybrid has joined a list of just 15 cars eligible for Britian’s ‘ULEV’ (ultra low-emission vehicle) status, approved by OLEV (the Office for low-emission vehicles.) Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport (2010) first pictures
Mon, 05 Jul 2010Lots of people haven't bought a Bugatti Veyron for many reasons - chiefly cost - but for the few who found the Bugatti supercar too slow, this is the answer: the Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, aka the World's Fastest Car. Whereas previous limited-edition Veyrons such as the all-black Sang Noir made do with cosmetic changes, the Super Sport Bugatti has done a lot more than just give it a new lick of paint. Out go the large overhead air scoops, replaced by deep air ducts.
New BMW X4 looks a winner: Geneva Motor Show
Thu, 06 Mar 2014The new BMW X4 (pictured) revealed at Geneva The arrival of the new BMW X4 at the Geneva Motor Show isn’t exactly a surprise, and nor is the fact that it’s very much the same as the X4 Concept we saw at the Shanghai Motor Show last year. What is perhaps a bit of a surprise is a price list that appears to price the new X4 about 15 per cent more than the comparable X3; the X4 xDrive 35d M Sport costing £48,990 compared to the X3 xDrive 35d M Sport at £42,900. Still, style comes at a price.
