Porsche has released details of the 2010 MY Porsche 911 Turbo But times move on, and other car makers are starting to produce cars that can be used every day and have comparable performance. One startling entry is the Nissan GT-R, but even models from Lamborghini, Ferrari and even Audi are getting close on performance and usability. Finalists announced in Fiat UK's 'Smiles per Hour' design competition

Fiat UK has picked five finalists in the ‘Smiles per Hour Design Competition', a design contest we first told you about back in July. The aim of the competition was to find a budding designer in Britain who would develop a clever and amusing new way to travel. Following an initial judging process, the selection for best designs comprised of Simon Tarrant's 'Street Rower'; Nick Rawcliffe's 'Snowbone'; Natalie Daghestani's 'Hylo female commuter shoe'; Steven Spong's ‘Longbow'; and Harley Zblewski's 'Suitcase Car' - a design we first saw at Coventry University's annual Degree Show in June.

Suzuki has unveiled a warmed-up version of its Swift supermini at the 2011 Geneva motor show. The new Swift S-Concept is an indication of the forthcoming Swift Sport hot hatch. Although a concept, it won’t take a rocket scientist to work out the Swift S-Concept is very close to the production car.
