The award was presented during the second press day of the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show, following a designers' luncheon and keynote speech by Daniel Simon, visionary futurist and author of Cosmic Motors. Citroen has released a series of ‘cinemagraphs' portraying the new DS5. The subtly moving images are an evolution of the traditional .gif file, and were created by automotive photographer James Lipman and design agency TIZA Creative.
