Toyota Prius points the way to design future

For a glimpse of Toyota's future design trends, check out the Prius. The third generation, debuting Monday in Japan, stays true to the line's role as a vanguard of futuristic styling and sports many new elements that will be popping up soon in other models. Chief among these are the sharply creased corners, the forward placement of the Toyota badge, a lowered grille and styling that Toyota's global design chief Wahei Hirai calls "free-form geometrics." The goal was to create an avant-garde, high-tech look that also screams green.

Jaguar XJ – the ‘All-Star’ car

The Jaguar XJ receives Automobile Magazine's All Star Award No, ‘All Star’ doesn’t refer to celebs who’ve fallen for the charms of Jaguar’s new XJ, from our own Jaguar-loving Richard Madeley to rap’s own Mr Jay-Zed who featured a new XJ in a recent vid. Free airport parking and transfers for Tesla owners

ELECTRIC car maker Tesla has announced a free parking and airport shuttle service for its customers, based at its new dealership near Heathrow. Model S owners will be able to book the service with the West Drayton Tesla centre, before simply turning up, having their car parked in a secure location and then being taken off to the airport with their luggage – in another Model S. Tesla representatives will also ferry the customers back from the airport terminal to their own car.
