Audi Stop-Start Introduced

Audi is to introduce Stop Start on a number of its cars from 3rd quarter 2009 Of all the major car makers, Audi has probably coped with the changing car landscape better than the rest. Audi TTS (2008): first official pictures

Quattro is standard, helping to put 268bhp and 258lb ft safely to the ground, as well as helping the coupe claw to 62mph in just 5.2 seconds. Using a tweaked version of the Audi S3 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, the TTS will run on to a limited top speed of 155mph, in coupe or cabrio form.
