Peugeot Partner Teepee Outdoor HDi 110 Review & Road Test Part 2
Sat, 24 Apr 2010Peugeot Partner Tepee Outdoor HDi 110 Review & Road Test Part 2 One unexpected bonus of driving a van with windows came at the local branch of Waitrose when I noticed the look I was getting from a fellow shopper as we both unloaded our respective trolley’s contents into our respective boots. While he hurried to empty his shopping trolley in the heavy rain I stayed lovely and dry under the protection of the enormous tailgate as I leisurely unloaded mine. This will never be a particularly cool car but the cool level must rise ever so slightly when other motorists express a sliver of envy, if only for that one small thing.
Volkswagen Polo UK details
Thu, 06 Aug 2009Volkswagen has released prices and specs for the UK of the new VW Polo The new Polo is a good looking car, taking design cues from VW’s successful Scirroco. It is bigger than the outgoing model but lighter, and has managed some good improvements in economy and emissions. Which is all good news. So there should be fair few takers for the new Polo, which arrives in UK showrooms in October, with orders starting from now.
Bertone B99 Jaguar NOT for Jaguar. Perhaps Lamborghini will be interested?
Mon, 07 Mar 2011The Bertone B99 Jaguar Concept - not for us, say Jaguar We thought we were in a minority of one when we proclaimed the Bertone B99 – Bertone’s take on a new Small Jaguar – to be the wrong direction for Jaguar. We couldn’t conceive why a struggling Italian design firm like Bertone would take a punt on designing a new Jaguar, so we assumed that Jaguar must have quietly commissioned it. Otherwise Bertone would have to be a bit barking to try and usurp Jaguar’s design team; a design team with as sure a touch as any in the industry.
