Government Unveils New Plan To Manage Major Roads

ALONGSIDE charges for plastic bags, the Queen’s Speech also contained legislation that will change the way England’s motorways and major A-roads are managed. As part of the Infrastructure Bill, the changes will see the current Highways Agency (HA) transformed into a Government-owned company. Behind the move is a desire by the Government to save taxpayers at least £2.6 billion over the next 10 years.

Porsche are planning to start production of the revised engine on 22nd April and will be despatching engines out to dealers shortly thereafter for them to fit to the affected cars.

Mind you, with over 800,000 Porsche 911s produced since the first 911 arrived in 1963, it will have been a lot easier to find 911s than it was Ferraris. In fact, it’s been so easy the applications to take part by 911 owners has been oversubscribed.
