06-09 Yamaha YFZ 450 Cylinder head assembly in great ready to run condition.  Head came from an 07 YFZ 450 that ran great then was disassembled a few months ago due to a spun rod bearing.  All contact surfaces such as journals, cam bearing, and cam lobes are in good condition.  Assembly comes complete with everything besides the circlips/moon clips for the camshafts.  Cylinder head has normal signs of use such as buildup on the face of the valves and in the exhaust ports,  would be easy to clean before installation.  This item is being sold as is,  Thus I have taken the best pictures possible.  Thanks for looking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What we drive: 1994 Mazda RX-7 R2

Fri, 20 May 2011

Blame it on the 1993 Montego blue RX-7 parked a block away from my childhood home--and the cover photo of the competition yellow mica R1 gracing one of the other monthly car magazines that year. Either way, it was 1993 when my captivation with the third-generation Mazda RX-7 caught fire. I was 10 years old.

New fuel-economy labels will baffle buyers, survey says

Wed, 06 Oct 2010

A survey released this week suggests that revised fuel economy labels proposed by federal regulators will confuse many likely car buyers -- and will emphasize the wrong information. The branding strategy firm Siegel+Gale performed an independent online survey of 456 people over the age of 18 who intended to buy a car in the next three years. Founder Alan Siegel told Automotive News that the survey was not directly requested but has been sent to the EPA and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration during the ongoing public comment period.

CAR Most Wanted of 2014: Ferrari 458 Speciale

Mon, 23 Dec 2013

By the CAR road-test team First Official Pictures 23 December 2013 10:50 The first time we checked out the Ferrari 458 Speciale, it was parked tantalisingly in the bowels of the Ferrari’s Maranello factory. Tech boss Roberto Fedeli told us how Ferrari had calculated the Speciale would be an even higher performer: 10% lighter, 11% faster response, 40% quicker through the gearbox, and squeezing out an extra 34bhp from its 4.5-litre V8. Since then, we’ve driven the 202mph 458 Speciale, which Ferrari claims is different (not better than) a 458 Italia, and designed to appeal to a different kind of customer.
