Not that we’d have expected anything less from a car which is – at least on the face of it – Ferrari’s range-topper; the replacement for the 612 Scaglietti. And now it’s the turn of the US to launch a Scrappage Schem – Cash for Clunkers. Cash for Clunkers legislation was passed yesterday in the US to try and kick-start US car sales, and give a boost to beleaguered car makers like GM and Chrysler.

This is the Exige Sprint, recreating the colour scheme of the Elan Sprint built between 1971 and 1973. The limited edition Exige, of which just 40 will be built, will come with the lower portion of the body painted in white, the upper part in yellow or blue, and with a gold stripe separating the two sections.
