Mercedes-Benz to launch teen driving school in Los Angeles
Fri, 29 Apr 2011Mercedes-Benz is set to launch its first U.S.-based teen driving school in Los Angeles this October. The school will be modeled after one Mercedes launched in the United Kingdom in 2009. A full driver's-education program will incorporate training online, in the classroom and behind the wheel.

Organiser Lord March promises the most complete collection of BTCC cars yet assembled, from the Minis and vast Ford Galaxies of the sixties, through the Capris of the Seventies and Cosworths of the Eighties to the saloons of the formula’s Nineties heyday.The Ford and Subaru world rally teams are confirmed, and modern sports car racing will be represented by the Le Mans-winning Audi R10 diesel and GT1 class-winning Aston Martin DBR9 in Gulf colours.
Detroit Electric delays SP:01 again
Mon, 26 Aug 2013Detroit Electric, the new startup with an old name, said it is delaying production because it hasn't secured a lease or purchase agreement for its manufacturing facility in Plymouth, Mich. It is also talking to some new partners, though the company declined to name them. North American president Don Graunstadt told the Detroit News, “To further elaborate at this juncture is, unfortunately, not possible as Detroit Electric have entered into negotiations with other parties that have the potential to impact our business strategy and timing,” Graunstadt said.
