SHOGUN
NO CUT FRAME SLIDER KIT

2007 - 2008 YAMAHA R1

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Shogun Frame Sliders kit.

PRODUCT FEATURES
  • Made of shatter-proof UHMW infused with UV protective polymer.
  • Absorbs kinetic energy from crashes and will not shatter in cold temperature like some types of Delrin or fade in the sun.
  • Press fit aluminum bushing (excluding bar ends) to hold it in place during impact to reduce the risk of the slider puck or spool tearing off of the mounting point.
  • Each Shogun Frame Slider comes with high tensile strength corrosion resistant hardware (cheap imitators do not use high grade hardware and will quickly rust).
  • Shogun uses socket head bolts in nearly every kit, allowing for stronger frame slider design in a more compact space.
  • Newer applications of Shogun Frame Sliders make use of a counter sunk design, which distributes the force of impact over a wider area and gives additional strength to the system so that the puck remains attached to the motorcycle.
  • MADE IN THE USA.
NOTE: DRILLING CLEARANCE HOLES IN THE FAIRING IS NOT REQUIRED

PARTS INCLUDED

2 frame sliders
Misc required hardware

Goodwood Revival

Thu, 19 Jul 2007

By Ben Whitworth Motor Shows 19 July 2007 02:30 The tenth Goodwood Revival, held this year from 31 August to 2 September, looks set to once again establish itself as the world’s finest historic motor racing event. The world’s only sporting event set entirely to a period theme – no vehicles produced after 1966 are allowed on the circuit and its environs throughout the weekend – this year’s Revival will be bigger and better than before, according to Lord March. “The Revival is arguably the most popular historic motor racing event in the world,” Lord March told CAR Online.

Geneva Show 2014: McLaren reveals 650S Spider and Coupe

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

BRITISH MARQUE McLaren has expanded its supercar range at the Geneva Motor Show with the introduction of the 650S. Slotting between the 12C and the spectacular P1, the 650S comes in Coupe and Spider forms and has much in common with its siblings. The structure of the 650S is shared with the 12C, made exclusively of carbonfibre and extremely light.

First Sight: Infiniti Emerg-e

Tue, 06 Mar 2012

It's a month before the Geneva motor show and amongst the usual pre Motor Show commotion I receive a string of cryptic emails about an Infiniti electric sports car concept. The name Emerg-e is only revealed as I drive to the secret preview at Park Royal Studios in West London to meet the big three in design – global design director Shiro Nakamura, Francois Bancon of advanced design and head of Nissan Design Europe Victor Nacif. This is clearly a critical car for Infiniti.
