The official line at Audi’s press conference from chairman Rupert Stadler went as follows: 'In two years’ time I imagine that we will find many aspects of this car in the new Audi A1.' Daihatsu to debut three Kopen concepts in Tokyo

Three new Daihatsu Kopen concepts have been revealed ahead of their unveiling at next month's Tokyo motor show. The blue and orange concepts are the RMZ model – although they feature slight differences – while the green car is the XMZ model. The concepts measure in at 3,395mm long, 1,475mm wide and 1,275mm tall and, like the recently discontinued Copen, fit into the Japanese ‘Kei' light car category.

Subaru has launched the Impreza Diesel in the UK The Impreza is a great car, and slotting in the 2.0-litre Boxer Diesel is a move designed to get the Impreza a whole new market, especially as it’s coming in at a round decent Golf money – a nice round £20,000 for the Impreza 2.0D RC. The 2.0 litre boxer diesel outputs 150bhp and 258lb/ft of torque, and can do 0-60 mph in 8.8 seconds and on to 127 mph. It does 47.1 mpg and emits 155g/km CO2.
