Driver receives 45 points in nine months

But what’s truly astonishing about this is that he ‘achieved’ the 45-point tally in just nine months, between 1 October 2012 and 20 June 2013 – and what’s more, he’s apparently still driving. Tue, 06 May 2014This McLaren F1 sold for $10 million The price of the McLaren F1 keeps on rising, and just last year F1 chassis #66 was sold by Gooding and Co in the US for a then record-breaking £5.42 million. But that record seems to have been broken. Ferrari specialists DK Engineering in Hertfordshire have just spent six months tracking down an F1 for a British buyer, culminating in chassis #28 being sold for a reported £6.2 million ($10 million).

Thu, 17 Jun 2010Land Rover might only have revised the Range Rover last summer, but there’s now a new version, complete with a bigger and better 4.4-litre TDV8, plus it's available as a limited-run Autobiography Black special edition to celebrate the car’s 40th birthday. For a start the engine has grown from 3.6 to 4.4-litres, but still retains the twin sequential turbochargers. That means 309bhp (up from 267bhp), while the torque figures climbs from 472lb ft to 516lb ft.
