Ford Verve Sedan

Just as Mazda is exhibiting a sedan version of the 2 at Auto Guangzhou, the automaker's parent company, Ford, is revealing a sedan version of the Verve concept. The second in a series of concepts that will culminate with yet another variant set to be unveiled in Detroit, this 'notchback' provides further insight to the future small car design direction for Ford. Ford's European design team, which created the Verve concepts, applied Ford's kinetic design philosophy and built on the look of its hatchback sibling.

New MINI to be unveiled on 18 November

The new third-generation MINI Hatch will be revealed at the British brand’s Oxford factory on the 18 November, ahead of a simultaneous showcase at the 2013 LA and Tokyo Motor Shows two days later. In a nice touch from the BMW-owned carmaker, the special unveiling event will be held 107 years to the day since creator of the original Mini, Sir Alec Issigonis, was born. Video: Stuntman flips over charging Lamborghini

This might be the coolest video we’ve seen this week: a stuntman at last week’s Top Gear Festival at Sydney Motorsport Park in Australia flips over a charging Lamborghini Murcielago. The supercar isn’t traveling even close to peak speed, but the stuntman’s timing, vertical jump and acrobatics are impressive enough. The festival combined a slew of motorsport spectacles and stunts, hosted by UK Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and “The Stig.”
