Ferrari Superamerica 45 revealed ahead of Villa d’Este
Thu, 19 May 2011Ferrari Superamerica 45 - stunning At the start of May we were hearing that Pininfarina had put together a one-off special for a Ferrari client – the Ferrari Superamerica 45 – which was being built for New Yorker Peter Kalikow, an avid Ferrari collector. Not only were Pininfarina building this one-off Ferrari, but they were going to reveal it at Villa d’Este this week – a perfect setting. Well, Villa d’Este kicks off tomorrow, but Ferrari couldn’t resist releasing a few photos of the Superamerica 45 as it was readied for collection by Peter Kalikow, and a few details.
Ferrari 149M Project for Geneva Motor Show – looks like a California update
Tue, 04 Feb 2014Ferrari Project 149M will be revealed on 12th February 2014 It’s was 2012 when Ferrari updated their entry-level car – the Ferrari California – with less weight, more power and a handling package, and it looks like they’re about to do the same again. Ferrari are trailing a reveal of ‘Project 149M’ for the 12th February – and a reveal at the Geneva Motor Show next month – which, although slightly cryptic sounding, does point firmly to a Ferrari California ‘Modificato’. The California has the internal product code ‘F149′ and Ferrari has a history of producing ‘Modificato’ or ‘M’ versions of their road cars to move the game on – think Ferrari 575M.
Sunroof smash woman narrowly escapes injury
Mon, 27 Jan 2014A WOMAN narrowly escaped serious injury last week when an unidentified object was dropped from a motorway bridge onto her car, police said. The woman, from Norfolk, was driving northwards on the M11 at around 5.15pm on Tuesday when the item was thrown from the bridge over the motorway at junction seven (Harlow). The sunroof of the black Volkswagen Golf was smashed but the woman was miraculously uninjured.
