Mustang named favourite classic

"Ford Mustang is more than a car, it’s the freedom of the open road and the spirit of performance driving," said Roelant de Waard, vice president, Marketing, Sales and Service, Ford of Europe. "Mustang has been a fundamental part of global automotive culture for almost half a century and is one of the world’s most recognisable vehicles." Launched in 1964, Mustang became an instant sensation and inspired millions of people.
Volkswagen Tops Satisfaction Table
Thu, 29 May 2014ONE of the most respected customer satisfaction surveys is out, and cars made by German-owned manufacturers are the most satisfying – that’s according to a poll of more than 15,000 motorists. German vehicles took seven of the top 10 places in a customer satisfaction table compiled by What Car? and marketing information services company JD Power.
Concept Car of the Week: Matra Laser (1971)

In the mid ‘60s, under Jean-Luc Lagardere's ambitious direction, the company bought Automobiles Rene Bonnet to expand its portfolio with street and racing cars. The first model solely developed by Matra was the bonkers, but brilliant, 1967 M530, which took its name from the company's surface-to-air missile the R530.
