Jaguar Land Rover first Showroom in India
Sun, 28 Jun 2009Ratan Tata opens the Flagship Jaguar Land Rover Showroom in Mumbai Hardly a shock that Tata are importers in India for Jaguar and Land Rover (they have to have some perks from losing over £300 million on JLR in the last 10 months), and no more shocking that the new Flagship Showroom was opened by Chairman of Tata, Ratan N. Tata. And all this is a very logical move by Tata.
Ford Focus ST gets 330 Cosworth horses
Thu, 01 Nov 2012Cosworth has prepared an extreme Ford Focus ST CS 330 for the 2012 SEMA Show with cosmetic tweaks and 330 hp. The Ford Focus ST finally went on sale in June, the closest thing we’ve got to a Focus RS, at least for now. But Cosworth has prepared their own Focus ST for this year’s SEMA show offering more power than the last generation Focus RS and almost as much as the run-our RS 500.
Scottish Car of the Year 2011: Big night for Jaguar Land Rover
Sat, 15 Oct 2011Scottish Car of the Year 2011 Last night saw the awards dinner for the Scottish car of the Year at the Thistle in Glasgow, with Land Rover taking top honours and Jaguar walking away with three gongs (well, two gongs and the motoring equivalent of a ‘Lifetime Achievement’ trophy). The unstoppable Range Rover Evoque took the big prize, being voted the Scottish Car of the Year. Of course, it also won SUV of the year (it would have been a bit odd if it didn’t) and at this rate – and the great feedback from customers and media – Land Rover look like they’ll be mopping up a lot of gongs this next year.
