The concept will feature radical styling, with a diesel engine acting as a generator for the concept’s electric motor. And General Motors is believed to be collaborating with urban electric scooter manufacturer Segway; the unnamed concept may be able to carry one or more of the £4000, gyroscope-controlled devices for use in town once you’ve parked.

The new brand seeks to integrate sustainable elements with a slew of powerful technology whilst simultaneously improving mobility across both private and public platforms. Four CCS students win awards in 22nd annual Michelin/CCS competition

Michelin and the College for Creative Studies (CCS) in Detroit, Michigan recently held their 22nd Annual College for Creative Studies Design Competition at the A. Alfred Taubman Center for Design Education. Four CCS transportation students are receiving the exhibition opportunity of a lifetime when their winning designs are displayed in a special Michelin exhibit at the 2011 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) January 10-23, 2011.
