UP FOR AUCTION... Up for auction is a custom made tig welded billet grille kit that fits 2008, 2009 and 2010 Polaris RZR's. This grille is built entirely from SOLID T-6061 Aircraft Billet Aluminum. Each kit is hand-rolled either by roll bender or hydraulic press (depending on the application), then hand tig-welded in one of our state of the art jig's, then polished to a chrome finish and lastly sandblasted, prepped, powdercoated and then packaged up. Basically what we're saying is every one of our billet grille kits are HAND MADE IN THE USA! If you would rather have it with the standard satin (brushed aluminum) finish, or perhaps powdercoated ENTIRELY (all flat black for example), just mention that WITH YOUR PAYMENT and we'll take care of it. University Institute of Design presented their work in the annual Degree Show in June, which included work from the Masters programmes in Transportation Design, Advanced Product Design, and Interaction Design along with the final thesis projects from the Bachelor level graduates. BMW pushes back the U.S. debut of the X1 until the end of 2012
Mon, 02 May 2011BMW will not offer its compact X1 crossover in the United States until the end of 2012 because of strong demand for the redesigned version of the larger X3. Also, the X1 is selling well outside the United States so supplies are tight, said Jim O'Donnell, CEO of BMW of North America. The X1 was launched in Europe in November 2009.
Lajdziak replaces Schembri as the president of Smart USA
Tue, 05 Jan 2010Jill Lajdziak, Saturn's former top executive, was named president of Smart USA just three days after starting with the company. David Schembri, who previously held the job, will take an unidentified position with the Penske Automotive Group, which distributes the Smart ForTwo microcar in the United States, the company said. "Dave will transition into retail operations at Penske Automotive Group with our dealerships," said Penske spokesman Anthony Pordon.
