Golf Mk 6 bows out with new VW Golf R Cabriolet

Volkswagen is finally delivering the VW Golf R Cabriolet Mk 6, just as the Golf Mk 7 hits the road, but it does without 4WD. But it’s taken until now – 2013 and after the Mk 7 Golf arrived – for VW to fulfil the promise of more powerful open-top motoring in the Golf with the arrival – following a Golf R Cabrio tease video at the end of 2012 – to finally reveal it. Just as you’d expect, the Golf R Cabriolet is mechanically similar to the Golf R in that it gets the same 2.0 litre turbo four cylinder petrol engine that delivers its power through a six-speed dual-clutch auto box.

Bertone announces latest motor show special

Bertone has revealed it will give a new one-off concept its world premiere at the upcoming Geneva motor show. There is next to no information – not even a name – about what we can expect from the Italian carrozeria's latest offering, and all we have to work from is the 'teaser' image of the car's profile. Jaguar XF Black Pack (2010) first pictures

The Black Pack option on the Jaguar XKR is proving popular - nearly half of buyers are currently ordering it and the Speed pack - so Jag's rolling it out to the XF range as well. It's similar to what's offered on the XK sports car. The XF Black Pack brings dark grey 20-inch alloys, diamond-turned rims, gloss black grille and window surrounds. The purely cosmetic Black Pack kit will set you back £950 and is available on the XF diesel, 5.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol V8 and XFR models.
