New so-called 'stealth' speed cameras: don't panic
Mon, 03 Feb 2014REX Speed cameras: rumours of their death have been greatly exaggerated. Two years ago we were reporting on the number of road safety partnerships switching off their speed cameras – now the Highways Agency has revealed a new system that will offer more cost-effective motorway monitoring. Though officially called Hadsec3 – Highways Agency digital enforcement camera system – the mainstream national press has already dubbed the new speed cameras ‘stealth cameras’, on the basis that they are small and grey, rather than bright yellow.

Mon, 10 Sep 2012Peugeot are teasing what appears to be the Peugeot Onyx Concept on their Facebook page, a hybrid supercar heading for the Paris Motor Show. We already know that production versions of the Peugeot 208 GTi and Peugeot XY luxury 208 are heading for the Paris Motor Show, but it appears Peugeot will have something a bit more dramatic on offer. Peugeot has revealed a teaser photo of a new concept car for Paris on their Facebook page this afternoon, and a bit of digging around French motoring web site turns up more detail.
Maserati GranTurismo
Thu, 22 Feb 2007Maserati has released photos of their new coupe, the GranTurismo, in advance of its unveiling at Geneva next week. Designed by Pininfarina, the sketches also circulating were by Jason Castriota who penned the Maserati Birdcage concept shown in Geneva in 2005, before it turned heads at the Goodwood Festival of Speed that year. There is affinity between the two designs, and a more aggressive look than the current car designed by ItalDesign.
