UPD: Complete 5 piece  idler, extreme duty, double Nachi bearing, 105mm / 50mm idler assembly and relocation bracket kit for the 2009-2015  CTSV Cadillac / 2012-2015  ZL1 Camaro. Replaces all factory supercharger and accessory idler pulleys with high performance billet aluminum idler pulleys. Duel bearings are added to the high load SC idlers.

The upper 105mm idler will add extra belt wrap for the supercharger pulley and help eliminate belt slip. The lower 50mm idler will allow for current and future clearance for larger lower crank balancer changes and this kit can allow up to a 10.75" crank ring. The UPD relocation kit will allow for more belt wrap and larger crank rings than any other kit on the market. All parts are made and machined in  the USA and use only the best Nachi bearings to handle heavy supercharger loads and speeds.

The UPD idler relocation kit is a lot lighter and reduces idler rotational weight by 1 lb and the whole kit is 2.2 lbs lighter than the OEM assembly shown in the second picture comparison.

This kit can be used on stock cars to help with supercharger belt wrap, reduce weight, increase idler durability and plan for future mods.

Peugeot 207 Economique – the 99g car

Mon, 20 Jul 2009

The Peugeot 207 Economique - guess what its CO2 is?! As you may well have guessed, this is another car maker rolling out the usual low rolling resistance, lowered suspension, gear-change-light, steel wheels version of their regular runaround to create a car that magically dips below 100g/km CO2. Of course it’s completely disingenuous, because unless you drive like you’re carrying the last live eggs of the Dodo all the time you won’t get the CO2 levels quoted, and nor will you get the headline economy.

Can Horn get US Volkswagen sales back on track?

Mon, 16 Dec 2013

Volkswagen AG's German executives readily admit they are a bit baffled by America, where, despite decades of exertion, Volkswagen's namesake VW brand still doesn't rank as a marquee marque. So why would the automaker choose a German native and Wolfsburg veteran, Michael Horn, as the new CEO of Volkswagen Group of America, to succeed Jonathan Browning, 54, who is leaving at the end of the year? To VW insiders and U.S.

Ford Galaxy MPV spied stateside

Tue, 28 Aug 2012

Autoweek reader and frequent spy-shot contributor Spencer Abbott sends these photos of what appears to be a Ford Galaxy MPV -- or minivan, as we typically call the vehicles stateside -- testing in metropolitan Detroit. The Galaxy received a facelift in 2010, and that appears to be what we're seeing in these photos. Your guess is as good as ours as to why the vehicle was out and about near Ford's Dearborn, Mich., headquarters.
