American icon, reborn: the 1967 Shelby GT500CR Continuation Car (2010): first official pictures

Thu, 18 Mar 2010

We all have fantasies about meeting long dead heroes, dreams like seeing the Beatles play onstage, going dirt bike riding with Steve McQueen, or talking politics with JFK. Until they improve cloning technology, we won't be heading out to the desert with Steve, but there is one legend that is reborn and ready to ride. Bentley at the Paris motor show 2008

Fri, 03 Oct 2008

By Mark Walton Motor Shows 03 October 2008 16:25 Bentley launches its Arnage Final Series, a wonderfully blunt name for the run-out Arnage model. Probably a good thing too - the upright Final Series looked like a old-fashioned stately home next to its sleeker, more modern Continental siblings. Indeed it is - a Bentley spokesman describes this car as a kind of 'Arnage Greatest Hits', because it represents all the best bits anyone might have ordered, all sewn together to make the ultimate version.

Ferrari plans to sell fewer cars in 2013

Wed, 08 May 2013

Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo has announced an unusual plan for the Prancing Horse: to sell fewer cars in 2013 than the 7000 it delivered in 2012. Speaking in Maranello, di Montezemolo stated that 'this is a far-sighted decision to strengthen our brand equity, from what I learned from Enzo Ferrari… We must resist people who say the competition will benefit from us making fewer cars… When others penetrate our markets, we are happy to meet this challenge.' Is Ferrari mad to chase fewer sales? It is not the first time that Ferrari has decided to limit supply: 'In 2003 we did the same,' explains Montezemolo.
