Turn signal issues with LED bulbs LED brake/tail lamps may not flash with thermal flasher units (Old Style) due to their extremely low current draw. Sometimes, with stock flasher units, the turn signals may flash faster than normal (Hyper-Flash) or trigger bulb-out indicator on dash. Some vehicles will also disable the cruise control system if a brake light bulb is being indicated as bad. These installations may require a electronic flasher unit, available at your auto parts store. Flashers designed to work with LED bulbs will often say "LED compatible". HEAVY DUTY flashers may also work with LED bulbs, but don’t let these things discourage you. There is a simple solution: Install a resistor. Resistors are nothing more than devices that "fool" the vehicle into thinking it still has the original bulbs. They do this by simulating their load. Many places sell resistors adequate for the application of your LED bulbs. Generally the ones you will want are 6 Ohm 50 Watt Resistors for Turn signals, and you will need one per side.

THINK GREEN WITH ENERGY EFFICIENT LIGHTING SOLUTIONS

Lighting up our homes, workplace, and the things we use is where a difference can be made when it comes to conserving energy. There are new technological advances which offer a whole host of options for making our lighting efforts much more energy efficient. Energy-efficient lighting is effective and proper design and implementation of these practices result in saving money as well as protection and conservation of our valuable environment. LED bulbs are by far the most efficient and long lasting lighting solution available.

ENERGY CONSERVATION

Nowadays LED lighting becomes more and more the focus of attention. Despite higher production and purchase costs, the high durability of LEDs, their long lifetime and easy disposal (no mercury pollution) render them highly efficient and an energy-saving alternative for all kinds of lighting. Replacing a regular bulb with an LED that lasts up to 50 times longer and uses less energy saves money.

The standard luminous light bulbs are very inefficient; up to 95% of the energy consumed by an incandescent light bulb produces heat, not light. However, LED light bulbs use up to 90% less energy, far less than any other light source, and therewith contribute considerably to energy conservation. This translates to lower energy bills. In the case of battery powered lighting it means longer battery life, less recharging or replacing batteries.

The efficiency of LED sources, measured in lumens per watt, is overtaking that of incandescent and halogen sources. LEDs stand out through their low energy consumption: they typically use 10-20% of the energy that a normal incandescent light uses. Their extreme longevity which can last up to 50,000 hours ensures less maintenance cost for light installations, less usage of bulbs and therewith also less waste for the environment. Thus state-of-the-art LED lighting systems support energy conservation and cut significantly maintenance costs. For example, the initial costs of an incandescent light source may only be low; however, its energy consumption will easily cost more over its relatively short life. When a new incandescent bulb must be purchased, the cycle of wasted energy begins again.

In times of growing environmental awareness, the ecological consciousness of LEDs (no usage of mercury) directly meets the demands of today’s society. The absence of high heat emission and UV-radiation render LEDs perfect suitable and safe for everyday use as well as for areas where sensible lighting is needed, or places where maintenance is difficult. We support this development and offer the consumers a new solution for energy saving and environmentally friendly lighting. By seeking material durability, energy conservation and waste avoidance, we help provide intelligent green lighting solutions through sustainable products and efficient lighting options.

INSTANT ON LIGHTING

The LEDs are better for stop lamps than anything else, as they light up instantaneously. This gives the drivers behind more time to react to avoid an accident if a car makes a sudden stop. It might seem insignificant that a LED lights up 0.2 seconds faster than an incandescent bulb, but at 75 mph this translates to 21' of extra braking distance for the cars behind. This can make a difference when it is needed most !

MAKING CHOICES FOR THE FUTURE. GO GREEN, A WHOLE NEW WAY OF THINKING !
