READ THIS FIRST (The motors, wiper arms and things other than the 2 adapters and nuts in the pictures are not included.) This listing is for a set of two 1/2" spline drum adapters to fit American Bosch WWA6C and WWA12 or 24 volt wiper motors. The drum is 1/2" in diameter and the internal splines fit your wiper motor. Commonly found on International Harvester pickups K and KB models as well as Dodge Power Wagon conversions to these electric motors from vacuum. They are also found on many other period vehicles. Compare your motor to the one shown to be sure. A variation of these motors will have a switch on the backside and those work the same. They fit right over stripped splines on the old motor shafts and if there are any splines left it will lock down tight with the 10-32 nut supplied. Now you can shop at auto stores for wiper arms and blades instead of paying high prices for used ones to fit your motors. A lot of wiper arms for rear window applications fit and wiper blades for them will work on your flat windshield as well as the curved ones. Much better wiping with newer rubber blades. Porsche Macan to debut at Los Angeles – gets V6 turbo petrol
Sat, 28 Sep 2013The dealer presentation for the new Porsche Macan The Porsche Macan – Porsche’s take on a smaller version of the Cayenne to tap in to the more compact SUV market – will arrive at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November and get V6 turbo power. Jalopnik has managed to get photos of a dealer presentation of the Porsche Macan which confirms its arrival at Los Angeles and also gives us some detail of what will power the new smaller Porsche SUV. We’re not entirley sure the photo Porsche used in the presentation is the actual Macan (Jalopnik think Porsche has used a render by Auti Bild to muddy the waters for their dealers – just in case the presentation leaks) but it does seem clear that Porsche, at l;east initially, aims to provide the Macan with decent levels of Porsche power.
McLaren introduces 50th anniversary MP4-12C
Thu, 23 May 2013McLaren will produce a limited run of MP4-12Cs and MP4-12C Spiders for its 50th anniversary. The cars will get a few upgrades, but no changes will be made to the twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8. It stays at 616 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque.
Mercedes GLA 45 AMG Concept: Los Angeles Auto Show (video)
Thu, 21 Nov 2013The Mercedes GLA 45 AMG Concept has been revealed in LA Over the weekend we had a teaser video from AMG for the GLA 45 AMG Concept, although Mercedes didn’t actually name it as such. But a GLA with the same powertrain as the A 45 and CLA 45 AMG is exactly what Mercedes’ AMG concept tease was, and it’s now been revealed in LA ahead of a likely debut in production form in 2014. The GLA 45 AMG Concept gets bold graphics – something buyers would be unlikely to want – and 21″ forged alloys painted matt black with a red rim and red brake callipers to shout its intent.
