Our US Made double braid nylon is recommended for docking, anchoring and mooring. Double braid nylon is a soft nylon cover with a nylon core providing good shock absorption due to controlled elasticity. Nylon rope is strong, dependable and resistant to ultraviolet damage and provides a much longer life than other lines. Double braid nylon produces a strong easy to handle anchorline. These anchor lines contain a spliced in galvanized thimble. Matching dock lines available in any length from our line shop.

Former Chrysler CEO Tom LaSorda takes over as Fisker front man
Tue, 28 Feb 2012Former Chrysler CEO Tom LaSorda is taking over as chief executive of Fisker Automotive from founder Henrik Fisker. Fisker, 48, will pass daily-operations duties to LaSorda, 57. Fisker, a former Aston Martin and BMW designer, will focus on growing the company in overseas markets, building brand awareness and design.

BAIC (Beijing Automotive Industry Corporation), which recently acquired a small stake in Saab and where there are high hopes of some good Saab sales in China, wants to buy up the old 9-5 tooling. And move it lock, stock and barrel to Beijing.
