SEAT reveals new X-Perience crossover
Tue, 24 Jun 2014SEAT SEAT has revealed the new Leon X-Perience, the latest addition to the expanding Leon range and a foray into a new niche for VW's Spanish subsidiary. Following a method proven by the likes of Audi, Subaru and Volvo, SEAT has taken its new Leon estate, the ST, and added 4WD and plastic bumpers to create a new model. The basic shape of the Leon ST has remained unchanged, with a 15mm rise in ride-height and new anodised black roof rails completing the transformation.
GM to shut down Saab
Fri, 18 Dec 2009General Motors will shut down Saab after the automaker wasn't able to conclude a deal to sell the brand to Spyker Cars, GM said on Friday. “Despite the best efforts of all involved, it has become very clear that the due diligence required to complete this complex transaction could not be executed in a reasonable time," GM Europe president Nick Reilly said in a statement. "In order to maintain operations, Saab needed a quick resolution.

Well, they’re back with a bit more of a drip-feed of information as the debut of their first car – which they dub “… the world’s first Super-SUV” – grows closer. We’d speculated that Eterniti wasn’t a car maker but was instead an after-market customiser; simply taking an existing car and making it ‘special’.
