DescriptionOur Springs are built thicker and stronger than the leading competitor and using a custom width design we've managed to create a spring that is not only strong but one that provides a comfortable quality ride. Also, unlike our competitors, we offer driveshaft alignment shims to maintain the angle of your driveshaft so you won't get any annoying vibrations. Tool ProcessOur Spring Force Leaf Spring tool is simple, safe, and fast to use. Install the tool over the spring pack, and tighten down the compression bolt. Loosen and remove the center pin nut, and center pin. Loosen the compression bolt til the springs decompress, and remove the tool. Install the new add-a-leaf in the appropriate location. Replace the tool over the spring pack (you can loosen the two side nuts if the compressor needs to be more open to accommodate the new spring). Insert the new center pin, and begin to tighten the compression bolt to compress the pack. Push the center pin all the way through, and install the nut. Tighten the center pin nut and remove the tool. YOUR ADD-A-LEAF IS NOW INSTALLED AND READY TO GO! ComparisionOur Spring Force Leveling Lift Kits provide both increased towing capacity and a rugged leveled look to your truck. Don't settle for fragile lift blocks that will crush under repeated compression. Get a lift that will last a lifetime and increases the value of your truck. Our leaf springs bring back the life of your worn rear leafs and add towing capacity while reducing rear sag. PolicySpringforce is dedicated to providing the best possible service to every one of our customers.

Electric car range drops by nearly 60% in cold weather
Sun, 23 Mar 2014Electric cars like the Nissan LEAF (pictured) can lose 60% of their range when it’s cold We already know that the range of electric cars reduces as the car ages, with Nissan conforming that the LEAF’s range will drop by up to 28 per cent over five years. And now we have confirmation that the ambient temperature can have a big impact on range too, thanks to the AAA, America’s equivalent of the AA. The AAA took three standard EVs on sale in the US - Nissan LEAF, Ford Focus EV and Mitsubishi i-MiEV – and subjected them to test in different ambient temperatures.
