Klotz Octane Booster is a concentrated tetraethyl lead substitute formulated to increase octane rating of gasoline up to 10 numbers or more, suppresses detonation (spark knock) pre ignition and engine pinging.

Add one ounce per gallon of gasoline to raise octane 2-1/2 numbers.  For racing applications, add contents of this can to five gallons (three ounces per gallon) to raise octane 7-1/2numbers.  Experiment to find the most suitable combination for each particular engine.  Use octane index A.K.I. and R+M/2.  This product is effective in inverse ratios to the octane level of base gasoline.  All gasolines vary considerable in sensitivity.
