Adam's GREEN Wheel Cleaner Gallon Refill

  • Adam's GREEN Wheel Cleaner Gallon Refill is Eco-Friendly
  • Tough on Dirt, Gentle on Wheels
  • Safely Clean Wheels and Tires Too
  • No Harmful Acids, Butyl, Butyl Ethers or Petroleum Distillates!Eco Friendly Car Care

Adam's GREEN Wheel Cleaner is a 100% water-based cleaner that safely and effectively cleans tires and all types of wheels! This advanced formula takes advantage of new breakthroughs in chemical engineering, creating a new class of non-ionic cleaner that does not release harmful zwitterions.

What does that all mean to you? You can safely use it on all types of wheels including clear coated, painted, aluminum, polished and anodized. The active ingredient in this cleaner was developed in America to replace the acids, butyl and butyl ethers found in most tire and wheel cleaning products, which have been proven harmful to both wheels and nature.

It's an unfortunate fact that most wheel cleaners made and sold in America contain butyl or butyl ether. Although butyl is a highly effective cleaner, as well as inexpensive, it is harmful to man and the environment. Plus, butyl will white-stain aluminum and damage clear coated wheels, powder coating finishes it is also very harsh on your skin, causes respiratory distress when inhaled, and it is not readily biodegradable.

Adam's Green Wheel Cleaner contains no butyl or petroleum distillates! Plus, our new Green Wheel Cleaner biodegrades 98% in less than 24 hours, protecting our surface waters from polluted storm drain runoff.

This is not a spray-on, hose-off cleaner.  Adam's GREEN Wheel Cleaner requires agitation with a brush, sponge, or wash mitt to break the initial bond between the dirt and the wheel. Spray-on, hose-off type wheel cleaners are harsh, acid based cleaners that damage wheels over time.

PRO TIP! Never clean wheels while they are hot. Even the mildest cleaners have the potential to cause damage when sprayed onto very hot surfaces. Always allow your wheels to cool before using a cleaning product on them.

Honda back in F1 as engine supplier to McLaren from 2015

Thu, 16 May 2013

We reported that Honda were looking likely to be heading back in to F1 as engine supplier to McLaren nearly two years ago, and this morning Honda has confirmed they have formed a joint project with McLaren to supply engines and energy recovery systems to McLaren from 2015 in a joint project with the McLaren team becoming McLaren Honda. The new F1 partnership revives a very successful period for McLaren when it last used Honda engines and Prost and Senna dominated F1 with Honda powered McLarens, and fits in nicely with Honda’s return to making supercars with the new Honda NSX. Formula One engines will drop to a 1.6 litre V6 in 2015 – with a turbo – and it will be very easy for parallels to be drawn with the V6 hybrid plant Honda are using on the new NSX, which is going to do its credibility no harm whatsoever.

'Rat run' short cuts make journeys slower

Tue, 03 Jun 2014

DRIVERS taking "rat-run" short cuts could actually be making their journeys slower, according to a survey. Congestion at the busiest times on local roads is twice as bad as on main highways, the poll from traffic information company TomTom found. It also revealed that traffic congestion in cities across the UK has got significantly worse over the past year.

BMW Active Tourer to debut at Geneva 2014 as BMW 2 Series GT

Thu, 05 Dec 2013

The BMW Concept Active Tourer will arrive as the BMW 2 Series GT BMW’s new platform for the new MINI isn’t just about providing a front wheel drive platform for MINI, but it will also be put to use in a new range of BMW FWD vehicles. That was previewed by the BMW Active Tourer Concept at the Paris Motor Show in 2012 (and again with the Active Tourer Outdoor Concept in the summer) and now the Active Tourer is heading in to production as the BMW 2 Series GT. The new 2 Series GT is the BMW answer to the Mercedes B Class, a compact MPV designed for moving people and their stuff around town, and Auto Express have learnt it will arrive at a Motor Show ‘Early in 2014′ (which we assume will be Geneva in March) as a production model ahead of a launch later in 2014.
