Ford up their Facebook spend as GM depart paid for Facebook After GM said it was pulling its adverts from Facebook this week, Ford has stepped in to say it will spend more. Who’s right? The timing of the announcement by GM this week that it was pulling advertising from Facebook was doubtless designed to inflict as much damage as possible on the Facebook IPO.

The Chrysler brand will end production of its minivan, the Town & Country, in two years and replace it with a smaller crossover. The switch is part of CEO Sergio Marchionne's plan to differentiate the Chrysler brand and nudge it upscale. Town & Country: Production of the minivan will end in 2014, leaving the traditional minivan segment to its sibling, the Dodge Grand Caravan.
